Vickie reconnected with Rhonda (Matza-Amira) Saldias, a distant cousin.  Vickie’s cousin Daryl's father was Bernie Battino and Vickie’s mother was Evelyn Battino Fins, both the children of Sol Battino, son of Behora Matza Battino, the sister of Rhonda Saldias’ grandfather, Joseph Matza!!   Sadly both Evelyne and her brother Bernie died at an early age and the family connection was lost.  We enjoyed becoming re-acquainted with Vickie’s long-lost cousin and her family.  We’ve all been living in the Los Angeles area and didn’t realize it!

	Nicole, Alex and James Hamlett came for a quick visit on May 30th.
